Rare limited
print run comics, sf and other fanzines plus small press publications. Print
runs on many of the more obscure titles were low and reproduction methods are
primitive compared to current laser and ink jet technology. Keep in mind some
ditto or mimeo pages may be faded with age - or more likely were that way to
start with! And of course text may run close to - or off - the side of a page
or pages may be cropped close to text.
Side stapled denotes a fanzine with staples on the left hand edge of the
cover - the most common method used to bind fanzines. Number of staples varied,
usually one to three. Saddle stitched
binding employs staples in the fanzine seam where it folds, just like a comic
book or magazine. Condition as listed
but expect minor dings & occasional rusty staples. Refer to Home
